Justed wasted $120 on e7 2880v2Should have done more googlingLooks like this cup uses 3 QPI link according to intel ark while the e5-2697v2 uses 2 QPIThus the pinouts are different and this cpu won’t fit in X79 or C602 motherboards using Socket R(LGA2011)We need a 2011-1 socket and this seem to be rarified custom server boards
